MoU Signed Between DES Pune University and Chanakya Mandal Pariwar

Pune:Students preparing for civil services examinations can now enroll in UGC-recognized programs such as BA in Civil Services and Public Policy and MA in Public Policy. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has recently been signed between DES Pune University and Chanakya Mandal Pariwar to launch these programs.

Students who have completed Class 12 are eligible to enroll in the BA Civil Services and Public Policy course, while graduates from any discipline can apply for the MA Public Policy program. According to the organizers, these courses will not only offer recognized degrees but also provide a solid academic foundation and clear career direction for aspirants preparing for competitive exams.

This initiative aims to offer academic support along with a recognized qualification to students preparing for competitive exams such as UPSC and MPSC. Additionally, it will train students for career opportunities in the field of public policy.

The official announcement regarding this MoU was made during a special career guidance seminar titled ‘Career through Competitive Exams’, held on Sunday, 25th May at the Ferguson College Amphitheatre. Detailed information about the newly launched joint academic programs was shared during the event.

The seminar received an overwhelming response from both students and parents. On this occasion, former IAS officer and founder-director of Chanakya Mandal Pariwar, Mr. Avinash Dharmadhikari, provided in-depth guidance to students on opportunities, strategies, and preparation for civil service exams.

Distinguished dignitaries present on the dais included DES Pune University President Ravindra Acharya, Ganganath Jha, Dr. Sheetal Ruikar, Swapnil Mungle, and Mayur Patil.
