Dr Shailesh Hadgaonkar has practiced in Europe ( England ) , Africa ( Kenya / Tanzania) & India & has presented his spinal work in the 5 continents of the globe. He has done extensive work in the field of spine surgery with publishing more than 50 publications in indexed national & international journals.

He is Known for his remarkable achievements, Dr Hadgaonkar is highly respected in the field of Spinal deformity as Scoliosis and has conducted the AO Spine Scoliosis week , a premier course as a host faculty in Sancheti Hospital , Pune , Maharashtra.He is one of the few who believed and started doing interventional pain blocks & day procedures for spine affected patients after returning back from England in the year 2010.

Through his work, he has not only improved individual lives but has also pushed the boundaries of medical science itself.
His association with the prestigious academic body AO Spine reflects his commitment to research & education. He is the CD office of AO Spine (AOSIN) where he is responsible for the community development and is the Fellowship officer.
