Pune – The Bopodi area faces major challenges such as traffic congestion, unplanned development work, and garbage management issues, especially in its slum and settlement areas. Independent candidate from Chhatrapati Shivajinagar Assembly Constituency, Manish Anand, has assured that he will resolve these issues and undertake the planned development of Bopodi.

While interacting with citizens during a foot march in the Aundh Road and Bhau Patil Road areas of Bopodi, Anand shared his vision.

He further said, “Dr. Ambedkar Nagar and Chavan Vasti are plagued with traffic jams and improper garbage disposal. I will work with traffic police and municipal authorities to find solutions to these problems. The newly constructed bridge near Spicer College has cost the administration crores of rupees, yet it seems its feasibility was not evaluated beforehand, as the bridge remains unused. Such unplanned development is a waste of public funds. To prevent such instances in the future, I will get a planned development framework for Bopodi approved by the state government,” Anand added.

Meanwhile, Anand also visited the Disabled Home in Khadki to understand their issues.
