Pune: The campaign for the assembly elections came to a close today. In the Chhatrapati Shivajinagar constituency, Maharashtra Swarajya Party-backed independent candidate Manish Anand concluded his campaign with a grand bike rally. Speaking at a press conference held after the rally, Anand expressed confidence that voters would give him a chance to work for the development of Shivajinagar.

During the press conference, Manish Anand said, “Narrow roads, traffic congestion, water supply issues, and inadequate drainage systems are some of the challenges faced by the residents. Additionally, there is a pressing need for improvements in education, employment, sports facilities, and environmental protection in Shivajinagar. This change is not possible without active efforts, and voters understand this. During my campaign, several organizations and institutions joined me because they resonated with my vision. The support I have received will undoubtedly translate into votes.”

When asked which party he would align with if elected, Anand said, “The Maharashtra Swarajya Party has given me unconditional support based on my work and vision. Chhatrapati Sambhajiraje has not placed any conditions before me. I will decide based on what serves the interests of my constituency and its people best.”
