Pune, – The Ratnagiri Jets, the winning team of the first season of the Maharashtra Premier League (MPL), have selected Radisson Blu Hinjawadi, Pune, as their accommodation for the league’s second season. The team is residing at the luxury hotel for the entire tournament with their opening match on 2nd June.
All matches for this season will be held at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Gahunje, Pune. Six teams will vie for the championship. The league stage features 30 matches, with the playoffs starting on June 19 and the final set for June 22.
The inaugural season was very successful, with the Ratnagiri Jets winning the first MPL title. The final match was rained out, and the Jets claimed the championship based on their first-place finish in the league stage.
